SmartPhone Apps

Survival Apps for Smart Phones

Smartphones are more than just advanced phones. They are hand held computers, and when loaded with the proper software, they will serve you much as a personal computer would. If you have one, take advantage of its strengths. This is a list of some apps that you may find useful. Take a look. Sometimes seeing is all we need for that special inspiration.

Regarding tracking – yes,  phones can be tracked. Yes, there are security issues with smartphones in particular. As you look to outfit your phone, research methods of securing it. The battle between exploitation and security is here to stay, in everything we do. If you chose to be a part of the electronic world in ANY way, you must be considerate of the realities, for smartphones, PCs, MACs, gaming boxes and more. With Jailbreaking, come risks. Consider adding back software for virus and trojan rejection, and anti-hacker apps.

Remember that if your phones is protected from, or in some other way survives an EMP event, the Apps will generally function even if the towers are killed. Many apps work without connectivity. A few of the rest will still function in a useful way, so your smartphone isn’t automatically a paperweight. Keep this in mind when searching for useful apps.
